Jacob has provided some colorful and entertaining tables to specify the loot that is gained after a battle, or plundering, raiding, etc.

Battle Enemy – Knights

01 - 03 240 silver denarii (£1).
04 - 05 £1 of clothing.
06 £2 of jewelry.
07 Carved box with inlays, containing items of personal significance to the knight (roll 1d6: 1 – 3 box is wood, 4 – 5 box is ivory, 6 box is bronze). Roll 1d6 for inlay: 1 – 3 inlay is silver, 4 – 5 inlay is gold, 6 inlay is small gems. Value of the box is £1.
08 - 09 Decorated sword worth £1. Roll 1d6 for decorations: 1 – 2 skilled engraving, 3 – 4 precious metals, 5 – 6 semi-precious stones.
10 Decorated lance worth £1 unbroken. Roll 1d6 for decorations: 1 – 3 silvered head, 4 – 5 inlay of semi-precious stone, 6 inscription in gold.
11 - 12 Decorated saddle worth £1. Roll 1d6 for decoration: 1 – 3 samite, 4 – 5 brocaded cloth, 6 inlay of semi-precious stones.
13 Ring, roll 1d6 for value: 1 – 4 silver, worth £1, 5 – 6 gold, worth £2
14 Silver arm band worth £1.
15 Fine cloak worth £1 (roll 1d6 for origin: 1- 2 Byzantium, 3 Germany, 4 – 5 Spain, 6 Rome).
16 Flask of imported perfume worth £1 (possibly not appropriate until Romance period, except in fighting Continental knights).
